Finland-based alt-pop artist IRENE is ready to kick the year off with a raw and eclectic new sound in her latest single “Gatekeeper”. Written about a traumatic experience with a piano teacher from her past, “Gatekeeper” opens doors for listeners to tell their own stories about similar struggles through a refreshing level of vulnerability. In 2021, IRENE also wrote the official theme song for international war documentary tv-series “Untold Arctic Wars”.
