Vali Woods Is One of Australia’s Best

Vali Woods is an artist who is not afraid to step out of her comfort zone. The name Vali was actually her grandmother’s name and Woods comes from her Mother’s maiden name. She was born in Los Angeles and was raised in Melbourne, Australia.

Vali Wood’s is a very versatile artist and her genre ranges from alternative and contemporary R&B, Pop and Hip-Hop. Her sound has futuristic soundscapes consisting of trippy synths, trap beats, and sensual melodies. Vali started taking her music career seriously in 2017. Following her leaving her career as a Naturopath (holistic doctor) and yoga teacher to pursue music, she realized that music was what she truly wanted to do. 

When asked what her goals are when it comes to her music, Vali Wood’s responded “My goals are to inspire/help/heal people with my music and to be able to have a financially secure career in music. I’d also love to work with many of the artists, producers, and writers that I’ve been inspired by.”

Music is the one thing that brings her the most joy and inspiration in life. Vali Wood’s finds inspiration from artists like The Weeknd, Rihanna, SZA, Tinashe, Aaliyah, and DaniLeigh. She just released her single ‘Alien Disco’ and is currently working on releasing her first LP ‘I Can’t Pretend’ which is set to drop in November. You can check out her music on all streaming platforms!
