What inspired your artist name? And where did you get the name from?
My last my is De La Paz it means from the peace my artist name DLP comes from that.
What is YOUR genre?
My style is a mix of Latin tropical vibes and Los angles hip hop 90’s baby. I love exploring different sounds and connecting with all type of people something anything can rock too.
When did you start doing music? And when did you start taking it seriously?
I’ve always rapped and free styled with my friends. After getting some money from being on commercials and directing gigs growing up, I created a studio out of my house and began to take it more serious!
When did you record your first record?
After free styling for so many people and being a natural performer, a lot of my friends told to make a Spanish song… so I did! It was called Fuego. After getting a positive reaction I started creating more music- American and Spanish!
Who/what is your motivation and why?
My motivation is leaving a positive presence on this earth that will forever live for those who care to look for it– for help or inspiration! Life can get hard and if it wasn’t for some of the content I have come across in my life I don’t know if I would of made it like have and continue to work to get more so that’s what inspires me to help others.
What are your goals when it comes to your music career?
Create a hit that inspires the world and can make people feel current way! Also travel perform and really grow as an artist.
What are you currently working on?
More singles and creating music videos to all my songs I want people to get to know me as much as they can. Love performing
What is next for you?
Creating my own tv series called The Intern! I am directing and producing and acting. It will have major socialites and some celebrities on it. It will be released on Instagram and also in negotiation with some major networks
What message do you want to leave the audience with when reading the article?
They can become anything they believe they already are. If they can think it they can create it!
