Elyjah Tribe Releases Newest Project “Authentic Awareness”
Elyjah Tribe is an up a coming artist from Idaho Falls, ID who creates music that is for the mind and soul. He has been rapping since the age of 16 so his lyricism is one of his main levels of expertise. He likes to draw inspiration from the truth versus the fallacy that this world creates while generating his music. What is YOUR genre?
I wish I could name one. I play 9 instruments, so everyone calls for a different style of music. I’m based in Neo-Soul, RnB, Alternative Rock, and Reggae with Conscious Hip-Hop as well. But I’ve never let a Genre define how I make a song, it’s all about the record and staying true to my story and vision. The genre part isn’t limitless so it’s tough some time to decide when releasing!
What is the first step in your creative process?
My first step when writing a song it’s all about your intention is the goal to express love, anger, sadness, or just life in general you know once I have a clear picture of the emotion I’m trying to create the song becomes easy I also have a bachelor’s degree in communication so that definitely helps when writing lyrics. The main feedback I always get is that my lyrics are super deep and very powerful so that’s awesome to hear!
Aside from music do you have any hobbies?
I’m definitely a gym rat I love looking good and feeling good I also play basketball hike I enjoy riding bikes and come on man I know it’s corny but I love some beach time in Lake time I’m really a simple man to be honest with you a true hippie at heart if there’s any real gold mine it’s to create Woodstock again!
If you could collab with one person in the industry who would it be and why?
If I could work with anyone in the industry, I would definitely say Stevie Wonder or Andre 3000. those artists changed my life so much and have been honored to work with them and the track would be fire!
If you can pick any show or venue to headline which it be and why?
it would be really cool to headline EDC just because the energy and the culture of trance and dance music, as well as reggae, has transformed the world in an incredible way and I would just be honored to perform in such a large group of people dancing and having a great time to my tunes.
Why should people listen to your music?
People should listen to my music because it is inspiring motivational and always speaks to True circumstances that billions of people go through every single day. I consider myself to be a prophet and no one really can tell me otherwise because it’s just the truth. Sometimes you have to be willing to die for what you believe in and I’m one of those people a rare one but a good one!
