Chicago-based Aya Ito Releases Highly-Anticipated Project “Just Might”

Released in part with a two track project in Japanese, Chicago R&B artist Aya Ito is back with her relatable new EP “Just Might” on all streaming platforms. What started during the pandemic has now come to fruition as she wears her heart on her sleeve in a 5 track masterpiece inspired by introspection, leading her to value the important relationships in her life. One thing we lost during the pandemic was genuine connection and that loss led to breeding intense creativity across the board. “Just Might” talks about the many masks we wear depending on who we’re with, something that everyone can relate to. Filled with catchy pop and R&B melodies, the project provides wide appeal ahead of the busy holiday season.

The release of Just Might follows the success of recent single “Spellbound”, which has played on radio stations internationally, including her home country’s top hit station, J-WAVE in Japan. Since her debut single, “Don’t Take My Life”, Aya Ito has been an up and coming force, not only in Chicago, but worldwide. Earlier this year, Aya opened for Afrobeats artist, D’banj, in Dubai.  She also appeared and performed on multiple radio stations in Japan and sang the national anthem at two White Sox games.
